WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
ORDERS Construction STARTS FIRST OF ITS KIND, CONTRACTOR SPONSORED APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM ACCREDITED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR.

With the state's overwhelming need to bolster a trained workforce, ORDERS Construction in conjunction with Bridge Valley Community and Technical College, and the US Department of Labor has developed a first-of-its-kind “Contractor Sponsored” accredited apprenticeship training program. The company hopes this cutting-edge approach to the labor issue will benefit the people and businesses of WV by creating a road map to higher-paying careers in the construction industry as we build West Virginia together.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Senator Capito’s office, the Governor’s office, WV Department of Highways, WV Department of Economic Development, US Department of Labor, and many of the different trade associations and companies who depend on a skilled workforce.

We at ORDERS Construction, along with our partners hope that this, as well as other programs we are developing, will be the platform to attract, train, and retain the best construction professionals that West Virginia has to offer our clients for many years to come.
